On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Wellenwerk BERLIN SURF OPEN are back for their fourth edition: a contest by us, for the community. For our Wellenwerk crew, friends from other waves, and everyone who wants to enjoy an amazing day full of rapid surfing together.
Whether you already have contest experience or want to get your first taste of surf competition: everyone is welcome at the BERLIN SURF OPEN. There is no minimum surf level. Our contest format is as participant-friendly as possible, so everyone gets plenty of surf time and contest experience.
The facts at a glance
- Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Wellenwerk Berlin
- 4 divisions: Open Women, Open Men, Juniors (up to and including age 16) and Masters (age 34+)
- Entry fee: includes your contest participation and one training session on Friday, November 13
- Level: no minimum surf level, everyone is welcome
- Registration: online via Liveheats while starting spots last
What to expect
Get ready for top-level rapid surfing, exciting heats, plenty of surf time, wild show-surf breaks and an after-party right at Wellenwerk. Watching is just as much fun: you follow the heats right next to the wave, in the warm.
