What’s on at Wellenwerk
On Saturday nights the Surf Night brings light and music to the wave, during school holidays the kids camps move in, plus contests like the Berlin Surf Open and open-air cinema in the beer garden. No planning needed for these events, just come by: with a board or a drink in your hand.

Planning something bigger or want to put it all together yourself? Book the whole venue or individual areas: for conferences, product launches, weddings or parties with up to 1,100 guests. A 600 m² surf hall, 1,400 m² of outdoor space, our kitchen cooks, the bar runs, and the wave keeps the conversation going. By the way: Wellenwerk runs entirely on green electricity, and the wave’s waste heat warms the whole site.
Room hire for 4 hours each. Also available combined: restaurant and terrace (up to 300 guests) or restaurant and beer garden (up to 1,100 guests) from €699.

Frequently asked about events at Wellenwerk
Does everyone at our event have to surf?
No. At most events part of the group surfs while the rest cheer from the bar or the gallery. Watching is almost as entertaining as riding yourself.
Do we need any experience?
No. A coach accompanies every session, board and lycra are included. The wave is fully adjustable, so it works for complete beginners as well as advanced surfers. Anyone weighing at least 30 kg can join.
What is the minimum group size?
A group session on the wave works for small crews, packages start at 10 people depending on the format, individual areas of the venue at 25 people. At the top end there is room for up to 1,100 guests.
Can we customise a package?
Yes. Every package is a starting point. We put together duration, catering, drinks and programme to match your occasion, just tell us in the form what you have in mind.
Can we add food?
Yes, our kitchen cooks in-house: from finger food, BBQ and tarte flambée to a seated dinner, plus drinks packages at several levels. Most of it regional, seasonal and vegetarian to vegan.
Can we just surf as a group?
Sure. Book an exclusive session and the wave is yours for 60 minutes, with coach and full equipment. Bookable directly online, no enquiry form needed.
