Saltwater Movie Night presents ‘Female stories’
On September 9, 2023, the Saltwater Movie Night stops at our Wellenwerk under the motto ‘female stories‘
The film selection focuses on “Female Power” surfing, as all films are about female protagonists.
The 45-minute main film “Femme Ocean” will be followed by the short films “Amble” and “The Physics of Noseriding”. “Madre Mar” as well as “Fifth Tide” will celebrate their cinema premiere as part of the film tour. All short films focus on feminism in the male-dominated sport of surfing and how women nevertheless surf their way to the top with many challenges.
Admission from 15 clock – End approx 0 clock
Film program begins with nightfall (approx. 20 clock)
In addition to the regular program await you plenty of other action, such as interview with interesting people from the surf scene, surfskate jam in our parking lot, lots of music, drinks and food. With the purchase of a movie ticket you will also receive 10% discount on a surf session at Wellenwerk.

How much does one ticket cost?
A cinema ticket costs 15 €. You can watch all movies with your ticket and you are welcome to come to Wellenwerk already from 3 pm.
Do I need to bring my ticket?
You will receive a booking confirmation by mail after the purchase. You will not be sent a ticket. It is enough if you show your booking confirmation or mention your name at check-in.
When does the film start?
The first film will be shown from the beginning of dusk (around 8 pm). Before that there will be plenty of program, like interviews of enthusiastic surfers and more from 3 pm.
